Naziv seminara: Working Smarter with GenAI: Structuring Learning with Active Roles
Jezik seminara: Engleski jezik
Sažetak seminara: This two-hour seminar focuses on structuring learning through clearly defined student roles, with particular emphasis on reading workshops as a model for structured participation in a lecture. It examines how role-based frameworks (such as reader, text analyst, or spokesperson) can support deeper engagement, clearer task distribution, and more equitable participation among learners. Within this context, the seminar explores how generative AI can function as a cognitive and pedagogical support tool in lesson planning. Rather than replacing teacher expertise, AI is used to refine instructional ideas, organise sequences of activities, and anticipate potential learning challenges.
The session also addresses practical considerations in integrating AI into everyday teaching practice. These include maintaining teacher agency in adapting materials for diverse learners and ensuring that AI-supported plans remain pedagogically meaningful rather than mechanically generated. Participants will reflect on how structured roles can enhance accountability and interaction in the classroom, and how AI tools can assist in designing, differentiating, and iterating these structures. By the end of the seminar, participants will have a clearer framework for combining role-based pedagogy with AI-supported planning in a way that is both efficient and educationally grounded.
